Can you prevent or detect cloning of QR codes?

Modified on Mon, 23 Feb at 11:31 AM

Yes. H010 labels embed QR codes inside a holographic structure using optical multiplexing. The codes are only visible when the label is physically tilted, which means they can’t be captured by a photograph, photocopy, or screen recording. Even if someone tried to replicate the QR code data alone, the scan would fail because the system checks for the holographic layer as part of authentication. On top of this, the platform monitors for cloning patterns like the same code being scanned from different locations.
