Yes. You can change what consumers see when they scan your labels at any time, without reprinting or reordering.
Why this works
When a consumer scans a label, the UID printed on it tells the H010 system which campaign that label belongs to. The system then pulls your portal content from the cloud in real time. The label itself contains no content. It's a key, not a carrier.
This means your labels stay the same, but what they unlock can change whenever you need it to.
What you can change
From your campaign settings in the H010 dashboard you can update:
- Your logo and brand colours
- The message consumers see after a successful authentication
- The redirect URL consumers are sent to after authentication
- Any content or assets shown during the post-scan experience
Changes take effect immediately. There's no publishing step or cache delay.
What you cannot change
You cannot change which campaign a label belongs to from within the dashboard. Labels are registered to a campaign when you order them. If you need labels reassigned to a different campaign, contact H010 support.
Practical uses
This flexibility is useful in a few situations:
- Seasonal updates. Point labels on stock already in the field to a new promotion without recalling it.
- Product launches. Use labels applied to pre-launch stock to direct consumers to a holding page, then switch to the live product page on launch day.
- Campaign end. When a campaign finishes, update the redirect to a current page rather than leaving consumers on an outdated destination.
- A/B testing. Swap destination URLs to test which post-scan experience drives better results.
How to make a change
In your H010 dashboard, go to Campaigns, select the campaign you want to edit, and update the relevant fields. Save your changes. The next scan on any label in that campaign will reflect the updated content.
